Why Howling Owl Universe?
It all started with a car accident... I began seeing a childhood friend who was now working as a chiropractor. Watching her work, I saw someone who knew who she was, what her gifts were, and how to use her gifts to heal the world. She radiated light. In her brilliance, I recognized how much my own light had dimmed. I had no idea what my soul's gift was but I wanted to find out.
My journey led me out of a dismal basement office and into the realm of mystery. I got to discover who I am (hint, it's not a job title), reconnect to the Web of Life, and feel awe and wonder in the Divine moving in the World. I discovered my own cosmic task and also learned I was crossing a big life threshold - moving from early adulthood to late adulthood. Howling Owl Universe is a place for everyone to Step into Divine Presence. Find the Sacred in Your Story. Work in service to all life on Earth.

Meet Syneva Barrett, MAED
I have spent the last 25 years allowing my intuition to guide me down a surprising path including a master’s degree in Montessori Education, Spiritual Guidance training through Wisdom Ways and Death Doula certification through The Conscious Dying Institute.
At my core, I am a teacher, a healer, and a creative. I am in love with the mystical and fascinated by human growth and development and the soul's purpose on the planet. My spiritual view of the cosmos is connected to the visions of Bill Plotkin, Francis Weller, and Maria Montessori. I am deeply moved by the cosmic questions: Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here?
